MYSTIC WOLVES ONCE AGAIN IMPRESS
The mystic wolves taekwondo club in cradock recently had another grading and seminar with president of the unified taekwondo south africa Phoenix federation sabum nim Gerd Hummel (6th dan).
It was a long weekend consisting of the seminar ,which focused on technique and sparring , the seminar took up the whole sat morning and afternoon. We then had a dinner dance which was the official opening of our new dojang we had a good turn out .. on the menu was steak chips and salad and a coffee pudding for dessert.. the Sunday was the grading which kicked off at 10 am 16 students were tested and I am proud to say everyone passed .. out of the 16 students 4 students double graded and we even had an exceptional triple grading .. this is the first time in my whole career that I have witnessed or even heard of a triple grading.. Gerd Hummel was so impressed with the calibre of our students he stated that we should maintain the momentum moving forward and keep the clubs name high.. so far since the club started a year ago we have only had exceptional results be it in competition or in gradings we come out number one.. to put it into perspective gerd graded all of the clubs and out of all of them there were only two other students that double graded ... we had four doubles and a triple.. keep it up guys and girls ..
We are winding down now for the year. Next year is going to be an extremely busy one.. EP selections CHR nationals Sakmaa Nationals Interclubs regionals and once they are complete the selection committee will take a team to the world champs in Brazil in august 2019.. so please if everyone can support the students we would appreciate it..
